Before you begin ...
Materials: 16 of 3mm purple translucent bugle beads 10 of 3mm turquoise translucent bugle beads 1 plastic gemstone (from the Dollar store) or other gemstone that is flat on one side and beveled on the other, and with faceted corners 16 of 11/0 or 15/0 seed beads in gold or copper tone for the surface of the ring 28 of the same seed beads for the underside of the gemstone As many gold seed beads as you need to go around your finger for the band As many purple 11/0 or 15/0 seed beads that you need to go around your finger for the band Fishing line or fireline (about 1 yard) If desired, you can use elastic 0.5mm string for the band (or fishing line if you make it custom for your finger).
